The activity of the Temporary Export Manager (TEM) within a SME can be configured through three main phases:
analysis, project development, reporting and proposal of future activities.
The presence in the company of TEM provides a strategic / operational support, through the following actions:
1. Business Analysis:
- Business check up and information collection about the export propension
- Analysis of the company potential and possible positioning on international markets
- Definition of the project objectives and the internationalization program shared with the company and divided into commercial and marketing operations specific for the company
2. Project Development:
- Identifying and defining actions segmented by products, markets, distribution channels, providing any partnership and distribution agreements
- Revision of the traditional communication tools (catalogues, brochures, price lists, etc.) and IT (website, international language pages, etc.) and implementation proposals
- Assistance in the organization of promotional, commercial or B2B meetings abroad
- Supervision and monitoring of results for the implement of the internationalization program
3. Reporting and proposed future activities:
- Preparation of a final document showing the activities carried out during the meetings, the problems encountered and the results obtained
- Drawing up a proposal for future activities to follow up what has been achieved during the work, as a continuation of a process aimed to obtain and consolidate the company's presence in foreign markets
